A road accident took place near the Osona Village turnoff, approximately 15 kilometers from Okahandja. The crash involved a white Volkswagen sedan and a small white cooler truck. While both vehicles sustained considerable damage, no injuries were reported.
According to reports, the Volkswagen sedan was making a right turn into Osona Village when the driver misjudged the speed of the approaching cooler truck coming from Windhoek. Despite moving at a slow pace, the sedan collided with the truck, resulting in major damage to its front end, while the truck sustained significant impact on its side.

The Volkswagen was occupied by an adult driver and two children, while the cooler truck had only its driver inside. Fortunately, all individuals involved escaped unhurt.
