Arandis law enforcement officials made a significant breakthrough today, apprehending two men in connection with a large drug bust. The suspects, aged 27 and 32, were arrested after police acted on a tip-off about drug-related activities at a local residence.
A targeted operation led to the discovery of a variety of illicit substances, including 821 grammes of high-potency cannabis (skunk), 60 full Mandrax tablets, a partially consumed Mandrax tablet, two quarter Mandrax tablets, and four blocks of crack cocaine. Authorities estimate the total street value of the confiscated drugs to exceed N$50,000.
Both men remain in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities believe the arrests could be linked to a broader drug network operating in the area.
